Getting Started
Getting started with CJ MorphAI
Create your account, then open the Studio. Pick one of the preset characters or upload your own reference image, choose your camera and press Start.
Your new account includes a small welcome balance so you can try a live transformation. Credits are counted in seconds of live studio time: 1 credit = 1 second, and the balance only goes down while a transformation is running.
For the best result use good, even lighting, face the camera, and keep your head and shoulders in the frame.
Camera Setup
Choosing a camera
The Studio lists every camera your browser or the desktop app can see. Choose the one you want from the camera menu before you press Start.
If a camera does not appear, close other apps that may be using it (video calls, recording software), allow camera access when your browser asks, and reload the page.
A 720p webcam at 30 frames per second is enough. Higher resolutions do not improve the AI output but use more bandwidth.
Streaming
Using the OBS virtual camera
To use your transformed video in Zoom, Teams, Discord or a live stream, capture the Studio output in OBS Studio.
1. In OBS add a Window Capture (desktop app) or Browser Source pointing to the Output page.
2. Crop the source to the video area.
3. Click Start Virtual Camera in OBS.
4. In your meeting or streaming app select OBS Virtual Camera as the camera.
Remember to tell the people you are talking to when you are using an AI character, and never use the output to impersonate someone or mislead people.
Billing
Buying minutes
Open the Pricing page, choose a plan and a payment method, and complete checkout. Credits are added to your balance automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed; crypto payments may take a few minutes to confirm on the network.
Your purchase history and every credit change are listed on the Pricing page. If a payment was taken but your balance did not update after 30 minutes, open a ticket in Support with the payment reference.
Unused credits do not expire while your account is active.
Safety
Likeness and consent
You may only upload a reference image of a person if it is you, or you have that person's explicit permission and you hold the rights to the image.
Before a custom character can be used, you must confirm that you have these rights and that consent. Preset characters are fictional and free to use.
Never use CJ MorphAI to impersonate real people, to deceive or defraud anyone, to harass anyone, or to get around identity verification. Accounts that break these rules are suspended.
